Inspired by the ideals of the greatest Bengali of all time and Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the inaugural campaign of the “Bangabandhu Inter-University sports Champs-2019” is expected to begin on March 18 in the city, reports BSS. The championship will be organised with the theme “Let’s build a Bangladesh in cognition of Bangabandhu” in participation with all public and private universities across the country, said a press release today. On the occasion of this event, in presence of the president of Bangabandhu Inter-University Champs 2019 advisory committee, the logo and website of “Bangabandhu Inter-University Sports Champs-2019” were formally unveiled today (Wednesday) at the conference room of National Sports Council. Besides, a discussion (including the Torch Relay) regarding the competition was also held.
